Life's Traffic Lights (Penny Lane)

Slow down, aren't you going too fast?

Please see life's journey which is so very vast!

Red signals stop, stop to see your surrounding sights!

This was the first colour of life's traffic lights.

Getting ready, start your engines,

please don't think about taking any vengance.

Yellow signals get ready, be in control of your might,

This was the second colour of life's traffic lights.

Waited enough, now ready to go,

a new journey in life, be careful of your invariable foe.

Green signals the go, be careful of evilness don't get into fights,

This was the last colour of the life's traffic lights.

With directions going ahead, right and left, chose life's path fast,

The correct one will secure you, and you life will definately last.

Keep in mind all these directions given by your own,

if you do as a 'human-being' you shall have grown!

Just one thing to do to keep in mind, life's traffic lights; 

 If you don't.. Restart you life and you'll gain your last rights!

I am a huge Beatles fan.. and after clicking the first picture, the song "Penny Lane" was going on in my head, Hence the name "Life's Traffic Lights (Penny Lane)"

Times of Life

Business of life can make you lose the track of time,

Sourness of life makes everything as sour as a lime.

Sweetnes of life can make you jump in joy,

Bitterness of life breaks the happiness of your joys.

Sorrowness could make you break down in tears,

Or another outcome could make you misbehave with your peers

Happiness varies from person to person,

From the spoilt riches to the simple nuns.

Hapiness gets you into the mood of positive things,

For me it is in the early morning when the sparrow sings.

Be careful in what emotion you dive,

The correct one will get your life revived!

The First Tornado

I stood out there,
In the open air,
watched the clouds, the shapes they made,
continued to watch the clouds as the skies did fade.
A great stormy night it was going to be,
The witness of the first tornado in town was gonna be me!

The Sky (First Blog)

This is my first Blog ever. I have interests in Photography as well as Poetry, poetry mainly about nature. In Photography the main subjects that interest me are : The Sky; Droplets; and Flowers. In each blog I'll be posting a picture related to the post. Few of them will have only pictures, Anyways... Here's my first! (The first- In Lucknow. Second picture is a B&W version of a cloud from the plane)

I looked up happily up, towards the sky,
As the jet-plane took off, and bid the ground good-bye.

Funny shapes the clouds did make,
Encircled a part of the blue sky forming a lake.
Such thick fluffy clouds painted upon the sky,
So beautiful it was, no-one could lie.
On the beautiful sky with clouds,
Flew a flock of birds, singing and chirping aloud!
